Product Overview
The compound small rod corrugated compensator consists of two sets of corrugated pipes, a middle connecting pipe, a small rod component, and two end flanges/connecting pipes, and belongs to the pressure balanced expansion joint. Mainly absorbing axial displacement of pipelines, the small pull rod balances the internal pressure thrust of the medium, and can also absorb a small amount of lateral displacement. It is mostly used for overhead and trench thermal pipelines. Different from large pull rods, the pull rod size is smaller, the structure is compact, and there is no need for heavy fixed brackets that bear huge blind plate forces, reducing the cost of pipeline brackets.

Structural Composition
1. Stainless steel corrugated pipe: Two sets of corrugated components, made of 304/316L stainless steel, to achieve pipeline displacement compensation.

2. Intermediate connecting pipe: Carbon steel cylinder body, connecting two sets of corrugated pipes, medium circulation channel.

3. Small pull rod assembly: Multiple sets of small pull rods, nuts, and hinged supports to balance the blind plate thrust generated by the medium pressure and limit the maximum compensation amount of the corrugated pipe.

4. End connection section: flange connection or butt welded pipe, connected to the process pipeline.

5. Transport limit bolt: factory assembled, only used for transportation protection, must be removed before the equipment is put into operation.

1. Mainly absorbs axial displacement, can also absorb a small amount of lateral displacement, and cannot be used for large lateral displacement conditions.

2. The small pull rod structure balances the internal pressure thrust, and the fixed bracket does not bear the medium blind plate thrust, simplifying the bracket design.

3. The overall structure is compact, with smaller external dimensions and less space occupation compared to large rod compensators.

4. Bellows have good fatigue resistance, carbon steel components are coated with anti-corrosion coating, and are suitable for overhead and trench laying.
