Product Description

DINKONDA GLOBAL Power Plants Special Ta1 Tantalum Shell And Tube Heat Exchanger With Extremely Strong Resistance To Corrosion, Nitric Acid, Hydrochloric Acid, Aqua Regia, And Strong Organic Acids

Product Overview
The tantalum shell and tube heat exchanger is made of tantalum metal, which is the core component in contact with corrosive media. Tantalum has extremely strong corrosion resistance and can withstand most highly corrosive media such as nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, aqua regia, and strong organic acids. It is a pressure vessel level heat exchange equipment that completes the heating, cooling, condensation, and waste heat recovery processes of the media. It is mainly used in extreme corrosion conditions that other metal materials are unable to handle, such as fine chemicals, and wet metallurgy.

Structural Composition
1. Shell: Designed and manufactured according to pressure vessel standards, the shell is made of carbon steel or stainless steel, equipped with process connections, exhaust ports, and discharge ports to ensure pressure bearing operation and maintenance.

2. Heat exchange tube bundle: Metal tantalum tubes are selected for the heat exchange tubes, and tantalum steel composite plates are used for the tube plates. The expansion welding composite process is adopted to avoid crevice corrosion and prevent leakage of media between the tube and shell sides. Tantalum tube welding adopts a special protective process to prevent welding embrittlement.

3. Tubing and head: Tantalum lining or integral tantalum material is used at the medium contact area, matched with high-pressure pressure vessel flanges to ensure reliable sealing under high temperature and strong corrosion conditions.

4. Baffle plate: supports tantalum heat exchange tube bundles, disturbs the shell side fluid, improves heat transfer coefficient, and reduces tube bundle vibration damage caused by fluid impact.

5. Saddle support: It bears the overall weight of the equipment, compensates for thermal expansion displacement during equipment operation, and releases thermal stress.

6. Accessory components: equipped with venting, drainage, pressure measurement interfaces, and lifting lugs for easy on-site installation, monitoring, and maintenance.

Core Features
1. Ultimate corrosion resistance: Tantalum has excellent stability in highly corrosive environments such as nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, aqua regia, various organic acids, halogen compounds, etc. It is not easily corroded in most highly corrosive media, solving extreme corrosion conditions that titanium and Hastelloy cannot adapt to.

2. Excellent high temperature resistance: It can work for a long time under high temperature corrosion conditions, resist creep and intergranular corrosion, greatly improve equipment service life, and reduce downtime losses caused by frequent equipment replacement.

3. Stable and reliable heat transfer: The shell and tube structure has sufficient heat transfer area; Expansion welding combined with sealing technology, with good sealing performance and no leakage of media.

4. Tube bundle withdrawable structure: The tube bundle can be withdrawn for easy cleaning of scaling on the tube side and shell side, convenient detection of corrosion and wear of tantalum tubes, and easy maintenance and repair.

5. Thermal stress compensation: Expansion joints can be configured according to the temperature difference of the operating conditions to eliminate the stress caused by thermal expansion and contraction of the equipment and protect the tantalum tube bundle from damage.

6. Customized production: The heat exchange area, pressure, and temperature are all customized according to the user's process conditions, and various material solutions such as pure tantalum and tantalum composite can be selected.
